Last updated: November 18, 2025
Inkolab (“we”, “our”, “us”) develops mobile applications for iOS and Android.
We take your privacy seriously and design all our apps with a privacy-first approach.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
This policy applies to all apps published by Inkolab.
1. Data We Collect
Most of our apps store all user data locally on the device.
We do not collect, store, or sell personal information.
We only collect the minimal data required to ensure the app works properly or to improve the overall experience.
Below is the detailed list of what may be collected depending on the app.
1.1 Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
Some apps use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage, improve features, and detect issues.
- No advertising ID (IDFA) is collected
- No data is used for advertising or profiling
- Analytics is anonymous and used strictly to improve the apps
Firebase may process:
- Device model
- OS version
- App version
- Events such as feature usage or errors

1.2 Crash Reporting (Firebase Crashlytics) – Android only
Our Android app use Firebase Crashlytics to help us diagnose and fix technical issues.
Crashlytics automatically collects anonymous technical information related to a crash, such as:
- device model
- operating system version
- app version
- stack traces and crash logs
- performance information at the time of the crash
This data helps us improve stability and does not include any personal information.
Crashlytics does not use advertising identifiers (IDFA).

1.3. Purchases & Subscriptions (RevenueCat)
Apps using in-app purchases or subscriptions use RevenueCat to manage:
- purchase validation
- entitlement management
- subscription status
RevenueCat processes:
- an anonymous user identifier
- purchase history
- basic device information (for fraud prevention)
RevenueCat does not collect personal identity information.

1.4. Image Processing for Identification (Mineral Identifier AI & Buzzby – Bug Identifier)
When you submit an image for identification:
- The image is sent securely to an external AI service (GPT-Vision via AIProxy)
- The image is used only to generate the identification result
- Inkolab does not store the images
- No personal identifiers are attached
- Images are not reused, shared, or included in any dataset
This process is necessary for the core functionality of the app.
1.5. Feedback Submission (Couple Questions – Quple)
If you choose to submit feedback regarding a question in the app:
- The feedback is stored in Firebase Firestore
- No identifying information is attached
- Feedback is optional, anonymous, and used solely to improve questions and game content
- The app does not track the identity or identity of contributors
This is the only case where information is stored outside the user’s device.
1.6. Customer Support Emails
If you contact us via email (support@inkolab.app), we will receive your email address and message.
This information is used solely to answer your request.
We do not add it to any database and do not share it with third parties.
2. What We Do NOT Collect
For clarity, our apps do NOT collect:
- Names
- Email addresses (unless you email us)
- Dates of birth
- Photos stored on the device
- Health data
- Location data
